Fold and Forecast

Nathan Lenssen helps participants learn about probabilistic forecasts by folding and flying paper airplanes. Students fold 3 paper airplanes with the exact same folding method. They then stand in the same place and throw the airplanes and notice that, even though the planes are the same, they do not land in the same place every time.
