Whether you’re an aspiring young scientist or a long-time science enthusiast, you’re sure to enjoy Lamont-Doherty’s Open House. Tour a lab, participate in hands-on earth science demonstrations, and learn from world-renowned researchers about their latest discoveries.
Open House is free and open to the public, with a $5 suggested donation.
This year’s Open House attracted more than 3,000 visitors and, just like research at Lamont, covered a vast range of subjects and regions, from under the sea to the surface of the moon.

The exhibit map and full lecture schedule for Open House 2019 - to be held October 5, 2019 - are now available!
In an effort to make Open House as sustainable as possible, we are limiting our printing. While some maps printed on recycled paper will be available the day of the event, we encourage attendees to download the PDF version to their mobile devices ahead of time.
