On Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 10am to 4pm, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory Open House—our biggest, best science fun and discovery event of the year—will take place on our beautiful campus in Palisades, NY!
Open House is free and open to everyone: RSVP today! A suggested donation of $25 helps make this event possible and ensures that future generations can continue to experience the science, discovery, and community that defines this cherished annual event. We encourage attendees to bring reusable water bottles with them to the event. The 9W Market will be on campus offering food and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase.
Please note that most activities are held outside, and the event is held rain or shine! Activities are under tents, but may be placed on grass instead of pavement. In case of inclement weather, please bring an umbrella and/or raincoat for moving between the tents and buildings.
