Lamont Open House at Home is four days filled with exciting and informative virtual earth science activities for children, families, educators, and science enthusiasts of all ages.
The festival of learning and exploration includes hands-on demonstrations, interactive exhibits, tours of Lamont’s world-famous laboratories. We’ll also be hosting high-level lectures and panel discussions, featuring the scientists who are changing our understanding of Earth and creating new knowledge that informs solutions to our most daunting environmental and societal challenges.
“We are so excited about this year’s Open House at Home, because it presents a new way for an even wider audience to join our amazing scientists and to learn about our game-changing research,” said Lamont’s Interim Director Maureen E. Raymo. “It’s also an incredible opportunity for families and educators to bring the excitement and adventure of earth science to kids. We always hope our Open House ignites a lifelong passion for learning about and exploring our beautiful planet!”
