The LDEO campus and Hudson River region contain clues to the geologic history of the region. This includes, for example, the coming together and splitting up of continents and coverage by an ice sheet around 20,000 years ago. Learn about the types of evidence Earth scientists look for, including for the last Ice Age in our area.
